EB Combs & Cheryl Francis first met at a guest ranch in this same valley. Sand underfoot, they spent their days in the saddle. At sunrise and sunset, they gathered for meals with other like-minded women.
The power of that shared love of horses and wild places — far from our normal day-to-day — was impossible to unsee. Impossible to unfeel. It’s transformative.
On the day that ranch closed its gates, their journey to build a guest ranch of their own began.
They prefer a day out in the wind if it means they’re horseback. But they won’t skip a quiet rest either. It’s those two things — grittiness and a love for little luxuries — that drive everything they’re building at Rancho Rosado.
